We know that your first ventures out after rehab can be frightening. You may be unsure of the ability to avoid triggers or worry that uncertainty and boredom will bring back old feelings you’ve tried to leave behind. That’s where the HAUS team comes in. We are a group of dedicated people who recognize and understand your apprehensions. Yes, we are trained and credentialed professionals—but many of us have also been in your place. We’re here to help you through the challenges of re-entering life after rehab. Think of us as mentors, guides, and friends joining you on your journey!
Our owner, Paul Kaufman, has successfully traveled the road you are now on. He and our seasoned team of counselors and support personnel believe that it is possible for you to attain your full potential in recovery. The keys to this success are a willingness to remain teachable, a daily commitment to staying sober, and the assurance that you have the structure, life skills, and intense support that is available at Paul’s HAUS.
For our residents with dual diagnosis and co-occurring disorders, continuing treatment and regularly attending counseling sessions and support groups are essential for recovery. The HAUS staff assures that regular regimes are followed and that communication between providers, patients, and counselors remains open, responsive, and clear.
Sometimes during the days, weeks, and months following release from rehab, our residents hit a rough patch where confidence is lost or obstacles seem impossible to overcome. This is a time when you need us most, and we won’t give up on your recovery. You have our word that we’ll be there to help you through the most difficult times. It is our belief that our intensive and extensive involvement in your life can pull you through—and restore your course to a sober and meaningful life.
